Although I’m not quite sure that’s a bad thing since this is a game of “War” after all… Alliances would be rampaging other Kingdoms daily. Game of War is likely trying to limit the chaos that would occur if teleports could be bought with Gold like the old Coliseum teleports. Many players want Ancient Teleports to be available for Gold, but if history repeats itself, that will not happen. Game of War does this with quite a few items like Hemlock and Instant Execution, so it’s not a huge surprise they did it with Ancient Teleports as well. Seeing as how the teleports are only available in packs, the luxury is only available to those who can afford it. Game of War has to have some established rules to determining when a Kingdom becomes ancient, and having large Alliances who fight well is necessary to compete against other Ancient Kingdoms.
In my personal opinion, I think “established Alliances” are the primarily indicator of what determines an Ancient Kingdom vs a Protected Kingdom. Ancient Kingdom status is granted to the Kingdoms which contain the most fearsome foes, veteran Heroes, seasoned and victorious Empires, and established Alliances. Ancient Kingdoms are all designated with the orange words “Ancient Kingdom” as shown in the picture below:Īll Ancient Kingdoms are marked in the World Map view. A rough estimate of what constitutes an Ancient Kingdom is Kingdoms that are 1 year old or older.
